The Library on Gender and Equality holds a number of Special Collections:

• Archives of old and rare books and other documents from the beginning of the 19^th century up to the present
• Poster archives from the 70's up to the present
• Archives of all publications of the Council for Equality and of the General Secretariat for Gender Equality
• Archives of publications of Greek women's organizations
• Archives of donations (includes books, periodicals, and other material donated to our library)

The above mentioned archives can be found on the 2nd floor of the library. There, they are exhibited in special display cases and chests of drawers, in proper conditions of temperature, lighting, etc., so as to protect them against damage due to time.

Researchers can use the archives material on special permit and only in special cases.
