The GSGE will promote the following actions, in cooperation with the Research Centre for Gender Equality (ΚΕTHI) and the Ministry of Education:

• Extension to the primary education, of programmes aiming at training and awareness-raising of teachers on matters of gender equality and relations between the sexes, which are conducted in the framework of the Operational Programme "Education and Initial Vocational Training" (ΕPΕΑΕΚ) for secondary education.
• Evaluation of secondary education textbooks, from the viewpoint of the gender dimension and equal opportunities, through the provision of revising their content. Production of suitable teaching and training material for primary education and, generally, support and expansion of libraries and their role.
• Redefinition of school vocational orientation in the direction of eliminating the gender-based gap in the field work, with a parallel implementation of the mainstreaming policy in syllabuses of vocational orientation.
• Reinforcing consultative centres on matters of girl-students' entrepreneurship.
• Establishment of a Registry for Gender Equality Advisors in primary and secondary education, who are going to handle relevant issues in school units in the future.
• Campaign, in schools, for the promotion of cultural co-existence and the elimination of illiteracy in certain groups.
• Training of women immigrants and women belonging to specific cultural / minority groups through the above mentioned projects, both for their individual benefit and for the dispersion of multiplied results in their environment.
